Jadon Sancho

Apparently, the Red Devils lost 3-1 to the Gunners on Sunday at the Emirates Stadium. Of course, Jadon Sancho wasn’t part of the Manchester United squad.

Erik ten Hag’s troops struggled mostly in the midfield. As a result, Arsenal were able to outplay them throughout the 90 minutes of the Premier League game.

Frankly, Marcus Rashford opened the scoring for the Red Devils. However, it later ended in defeat, as they failed to continue their unbeaten streak in the league.

However, things haven’t been good between Jadon Sancho and Erik ten Hag. The Dutch manager didn’t hold back in calling out the Englishman on Sunday.

The former Ajax gaffer made it known that he intentionally excluded the English attacker on Sunday. Because he didn’t train well, preparing for the EPL match.

Erik ten Hag said:

“Jadon Sancho out? Based on his performance in training, we didn’t select him”.

“You have to reach the level every day at Manchester United. That’s why, in this game, he wasn’t selected”.

Obviously, the Dutch gaffer publicly called out Sancho. He made it known that the English winger wasn’t training very well at Carrington.

Surprisingly, Manchester United seriously missed Jadon against Arsenal. Of course, Antony doesn’t have the ability to maneuver like the Englishman in the squad.

Sancho hasn’t been struggling since his arrival at Old Trafford. Meanwhile, he’s a top attacker as regards his attacking prowess. However, he continues to struggle at the club.

Having missed the Gunners game in the Premier League on Sunday. Erik ten Hag publicly made it known that Jadon wasn’t really serious in training, which made him miss the match.

On the contrary, Sancho refused to settle for less after the game on Sunday. He immediately fired his shot at Erik ten Hag, protecting his image at the club.

Jadon Sancho

Jadon Sancho replied, saying:

“Please don’t believe everything you read. I will not allow people to say things that are completely untrue. I have conducted myself very well in training this week. I believe there are other reasons for this matter that I won’t go into. I have been a scapegoat for a long time, which is not fair”.

“All I want to do is to play football with a smile on my face and contribute to my team. I respect all decisions that are made by the coaching staff. I play with fantastic players and am grateful to do so, which I know is a challenge every week. I will continue to fight for this badge, no matter what”.

Apparently, the Englishman refused to accept that he’s been sluggish in training. As a result, there’s something going on between the manager and the player.

Amazingly, Marcus Rashford liked Sancho’s reply to Erik ten Hag’s comment. Which means the Dutch gaffer was just trying to throw the player under the bus.

The former Ajax boss usually finds it difficult to settle with big players in the squad. He found his way to depart with Cristiano Ronaldo, which made the Portuguese magnifico bounce the club.

At the same time, Erik ten Hag constantly badmouthed Harry Maguire. He wants the English centre-back to leave Old Trafford at all costs, wanting him out of the squad.

Harry Maguire almost joined West Ham United last summer’s transfer window. However, he later chose to stay at Manchester United, fighting for his place in the squad.

Unfortunately, Erik ten Hag is at loggerheads with another first-team player. It’s clear that things are not right between Sancho and the Dutch manager.
