Ex Chelsea player plans to compete for the Ballon D’or in the future

Amazingly, one of the former Chelsea players hopes to compete for the Ballon D’or in the future. At least, he dreams of becoming one of the best playmakers in the world.

Apparently, the West London club are going through a lot at the moment. Of course, they haven’t been performing impressively in attack, as regards their statistics.

Chelsea sold more than 11 players in the last summer transfer window. Many of their players moved to Saudi Arabia, leaving Europe’s top-5 leagues to try a new experience.

Aside from that, the Blues have made some mistakes in the past. They sold the likes of Mohamed Salah, Kevin De Bruyne, and the rest. And those mistakes continue to hunt them.

Of course, Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali have spent close to £1 billion since their takeover. Regardless, they haven’t been able to stand out in all competitions.

Chelsea have many brilliant and talented players this season. However, they would have been twice better and greater if they had kept some of their former players.

The Ballon D’or award isn’t for everyone. Because it’s a prize that comes with a lot of competition, that’s why Ronaldo and Messi remain the best players in the world of football.

Despite his age, one of Chelsea ex players is planning to win the Ballon D’or. The player desires to get better and improve in the future, performing at the highest level in Europe.

Jamal Musiala has shared his dream with Sport Bild, as he hopes to win the Ballon D’or. Of course, the German youngster is one of the best young playmakers in the world.

Jamal Musiala; Ballon D'or

He said:

“In 1 or 2 years, I want to be at the highest possible level”.

“I want to be one of the best players in the world, it’s my plan and ambition”.

“That’s my idea, I hope to compete for the Ballon d’Or”.

Despite the fact that many young players moved to Saudi Arabia in the summer. The German youngster chose to stay in Europe’s top-5 leagues.

Obviously, Jamal Musiala grew up at Chelsea Academy. He started his career along with the likes of Mason Mount, Reece James, Fikayo Tomori, Tammy Abraham, and the rest.

The Bavarians young wizard was at Chelsea from 2011 to 2019. He literally spent more than 6 years at Stamford Bridge, playing for the West London club.

Potential-wise, Musiala has the ability to win the world-best award. His playmaking skills are actually going to get better in the future.
