One of the Reds former players is set to join the list of players who own football clubs. Of course, it’s such an amazing move from the player.

Former Chelsea player, N’Golo Kante, recently acquired Royal Excelsior Virton of Belgium. In all fairness, players are now investing in football clubs.

Also, the likes of Gerard Piqué, César Azpilicueta, David Beckham, and others own football clubs. Amazingly, one of the Reds former players chose to join the list.

According to Berry Républicain, Sadio Mané sets to buy French football club, Bourges Foot 18. The Senegalese wizard is preparing for life after football.

It’s reported that the Al Nassr star player has been planning to buy the French club for years. He reportedly held talks with the club’s president when he was still at Liverpool.

Still on the report, Sadio Mané has now officially signed the document. He will reportedly take over as the majority investor at Bourges Foot 18.

Of course, the 31-year-old Senegalese forward spent 6 years with the Reds family. He was able to score 120 goals for the Premier League side.

Sadio Mané is currently playing for Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia. However, he has chosen to join the caliber of Kante, Piqué, Azpilicueta, and the rest as football club owners.

In addition, Bourges Foot 18 is a French Football Club. They haven’t been dazzling impressively in the 2023-2024 season, particularly in the league.

As a result, the French side are currently in 13th place out of 14th in the league table. Nevertheless, Mané is set to buy Bourges Foot 18, as he’s preparing for life after football.

Sadio Mané would have to invest massively in the French club next summer. Because he’s a kind of player, who doesn’t settle for less anywhere he finds himself.
