Chelsea Football Club continues to move unstoppably toward offloading players. They have successfully secured over £200 from sales this summer.
The West London club had 33 first-team players last season under Graham Potter. But, they have now managed to offload some of their players.
According to David Ornstein of The Athletic, Manchester United have reached an agreement with Chelsea for Mason Mount. Which means the Englishman is now a Red Devil.
The 24-year-old midfielder joins Erik ten Hag’s side for a fee of £60 million. And he will sign a 5-year contract with the Red Devils, continuing his career in the Premier League.

Nevertheless, Gabri Veiga is now Chelsea’s top target to replace Mason Mount, according to Nizaar Kinsella of Standard Sport. The Blues want the 21-year-old Spaniard.
Amazingly, the Spanish youngster has a release clause of €40 million in his contract at Celta de Vigo. Therefore, they are expected to bid for the Spanish midfielder.
The West London club haven’t signed any midfielders this summer. Of course, they are hell-bent on getting Moisés Caicedo’s signature, making him their priority.
Since they have sold both Mason Mount and Kai Havertz. Gabri Veiga stats entice Mauricio Pochettino, and he wants him to equip the midfield next season.
Even though they sign Moisés Caicedo from Brighton Albion. The Blues are expected to sign one defensive midfielder, regardless of what happens with Gabri.
On the contrary, Liverpool and Manchester City are heavily interested in the player. Of course, he single-handedly won many games for the La Liga side last season.
Gabri Veiga stats are beyond his age in the 2022-2023 campaign. As a result, he’s expected to establish himself in the Premier League, regardless of the toxicity.
The 21-year-old Spanish midfielder is an offensive player. Therefore, he may decide to join Pep Guardiola at Manchester City. Nevertheless, the Blues will soon bid for him.
Chelsea wouldn’t want to keep Mount’s position empty in the squad. With that being said, the Spanish youngster may arrive at Stamford Bridge before September.

Actually, there’s no significant difference between the two midfielders. However, the Englishman is more experienced than the 21-year-old Spaniard.
Mauricio Pochettino personally requested for Gabri. As a result, he knows the player has the ability to balance the team’s midfield, as a box-to-box midfielder.
The slight difference between the two players is their positions. Mount plays as an attacking midfielder or a winger, while Veiga plays as a box-to-box midfielder.
Despite the fact that the Spanish youngster is very offensive. He’s more like Mateo Kovacic. However, they both have the ability to dominate the midfield.
Also, Mount and Gabri fit perfectly into the 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 formation. That’s why Erik ten Hag is bent on bringing him to Manchester United.
The two midfielders love to switch roles in the morning. Most importantly, they like to attack, causing havoc inside the opponent’s box, regardless of the competition.
The Englishman and the 21-year-old Spaniard have many things in common. At least, Gabri Veiga is one of Celta de Vigo’s best academy products.
And same goes to Mason Mount. Despite leaving Chelsea in a hard way. He remains one of the most talented Cobham products, regardless of his age.
Speaking of their differences, Gabri Veiga stats are amazing. The Spaniard is way more defensive than the Englishman, which makes him a complete midfielder.
Even though he’s just 21-year-old, he registered 11 goals in La Liga for Celta de Vigo last campaign. That shows his level of contribution up front.
As Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali continue to prepare for the future. Gabri Veiga’s 21-year-old is a great fit for their future, because he has enough room for improvement.
With all that being said, there’s not much difference between Veiga and Mason Mount. They are both attacking machines, who can render defenders useless on the pitch.
